[RGS-IBG lecture on 30th Aug - Seven Virgins: climbing China's unexplored peaks]

Join veteran Mount Everest expedition team leader David Lim as he recounts his experiences and discusses the lessons learned from leading teams to make SE Asia's first virgin peak ascents between 2005 and 2012.

From the Central Tian Shan to Qinghai, David will share his journeys seeking routes up to the high places of Asia where none have previously ventured.

David Lim is best known in the region as having led the landmark first Singapore Mount Everest Expedition in 1998. In the past twenty years he has made over 70 alpine ascents and led expeditions across six continents.

A contributor to the American Alpine Journal and Action Asia Magazine, and a featured personality in the Wall Street Journal, the Reader's Digest magazine and many other publications, David brings a unique Asian perspective to mountaineering goals, team dynamics and challenges.
