Dear Geography Majors,
Geography students often wonder “what job am I suited for?” and “should I try the public or private sector?”. If you have wondered about these questions, please come to the NUS Geography Career Talk 2013:
Date: 27 February 2013 (Wednesday)
Time: 4-6pm; followed by tea
Venue: LT11.
We have invited two Geography alumni from the private sector [Finexis, a financial consultancy firm; GeoEye, which specializes in Remote Sensing] and two alumni from the public sector [Urban Redevelopment Authority; Ministry of Foreign Affairs] to speak to you. I am sure there is much you can learn about how these Geography graduates (from late 1990s till 2009) hunted for their first jobs; what they do on a daily basis; and what their organization does.
Please come for this event – there is no need to register, just pop by LT11 on 27 February!
All the very best,
Dr T.C. Chang
Vice Dean (External Relations and Student Life), Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
Associate Professor, Department of Geography
