Dear Geography Majors,
Each year, many Geography majors wonder what career paths are open to them! The Geography Career Talk provides you with some precious insights into the ‘tracks and pathways’ undertaken by young and successful alumni.
We are pleased to welcome all majors to attend the Geography Career Talk 2012 on Wednesday 22 February 2012 4-6pm, LT11 (note that this is during the one-week vacation break). Four alumni will be talking about “how Geography was useful in their job search” and “how geography continues to be relevant in their everyday work”. We are still confirming our alumni speakers right now, but the possible organizations they come from include:
· Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts
· Housing and Development Board
· Nokia (Location and Commerce) [Formerly “NAFTEQ”]
· Ernst and Young
There is no need to register for this event, just come along and bring your friends along too (non-GE majors also welcome, so please let them know of the event)! A lovely buffet spread is available at 6pm outside LT11.
All the very best, and see you at this event!
Regards, TC
